Daniel Strachmann
Daniel is a seasoned financial services expert with more than twenty-five years of Wall Street experience. He is widely recognized as a leader in the investment management industry, with deep expertise in corporate governance, fund structuring, product development, fund operations, administration, marketing, and distribution.
Over the course of his career, Daniel has held senior roles in hedge fund and mutual fund product development, institutional brokerage, and investment management. He has worked with prominent firms including Cantor Fitzgerald & Company, Morgan Stanley & Company, Orbitex Group of Funds, and Apex Fund Services. His work spans both retail and institutional markets, with a focus on traditional and alternative investment strategies.
Today, Daniel is the Managing Director of A&C Advisors, a boutique consulting firm specializing in strategic advisory services for the investment management industry and corporate governance. He is a registered director under the Directors Registration and Licensing Law (2014) of the Cayman Islands, a co-founder of the Investment Management Due Diligence Association, and serves as a FINRA Neutral Arbitrator.

In addition to his consulting and writing, Daniel is an adjunct professor at Florida State University’s College of Business, where he teaches classes on Hedge Fund Strategies and Structures. From time to time, he serves as an expert witness in investment management litigation, advising on fund marketing, redemption policies, fiduciary duty, and fund structuring. Previously, he taught at Rutgers University Business School and New York University’s School of Continuing Education. Daniel is a graduate of Clark University.
